Miran Badshah's Mizar or Dargah is beside the mosque Wazir khan. This mazaar (tomb) is near the center of the mosque courtyard. On close inspection, it was discovered that the grave visible on the ground level was fake and the real grave was underground,I went there many times. In my childhood ,i went in mosque wazir khan for Juma prayer with my grandmother. This is an old mosque but a fantastic art of structure. He built baths, market-palaces, gardens, sarais and mosques.
The mosque is decorated in Punjab's kasha kari works which is not seen in the Jama Masjids. This work was first used in Mughal buildings first time under Shah Jahan's reign at this mosque. The colours used in this work are lajvard , firozi , green, orange, yellow, purple. The domes of the mosque are built in the Lodi style. The walls also contain calligraphy in Arabic and Persian languages. Other mosques were built later on using the same construction methods, the most famous of them being the Badshahi Mosque, also located in Lahore.
The whole mosque is colorful and patterned but keeping Islamic values in mind, no human or animal paintings could be seen. These all are patterns and plants or it is calligraphy.
