Vietnam was part of Imperial China for over a millennium.The Vietnamese became independent in 939. Vietnam's people are a special mix of cultures, languages and historical backgrounds.The Vietnamese people are a combination of the  Chinese and Indian influences.For the next thousand years, Vietnam remained mostly under Chinese rule.The Vietnamese use rice bowls and chopsticks for the majority of meals. Women sometimes wear  long dress with panels in the front and back.Vietnam's people are a special mix of cultures, languages and historical backgrounds.There are over 92 million people living in Vietnam.Vietnam shares a land border with China to the north, Cambodia and Laos to the west.Vietnam is the largest exporter of cashew nuts and black pepper in the world.Football (soccer) is the most popular sport in Vietnam, other sports of interest include table tennis, volleyball, badminton, tennis, and martial arts.The currency of Vietnam is called the dong.

The capital city of Vietnam is Hanoi, with an estimated population of just under 6.5 million. This is a country to enjoy for what it is today, whether you’re here for a few days or a month.Very beautiful people and very nice city.I love VIETNAM's farms and fields.
