International women's day, the day of empowering the women
International Women's Day is called International Working Women's Day, is celebrated on March 8 every year.This day is an official holiday in some countries. Many events take place in most countries around the world as part of joint awareness-raising efforts with the Global Compact. Although women have made extraordinary contributions to their societies. Some are well known and some are less but every woman is trying her best for improvement of society,culture and this world. Without woman, there is no progress in any culture and country.
The story of women's struggle for equality belongs to no single feminist nor to any one organization but to the collective efforts of all who care about human rights.
Teachers, farmers, businesswomen, politicians, mothers, law enforcers,filmmakers and working ladies of all departments — women and girls contribute every day in many visible and invisible ways.
An annual "international women's day" was first organised by the German socialist and theorist Clara Zetkin along with 100 delegates from 17 countries in March 1911.
Most women played important role in this world.
