Kulfa gosht or kulfa saag in mutton

Recipe of kulfa ghost or saag in mutton


Kulfa gosht is a popular dish.People  like to eat this dish with dry roti. Some people eat saag with biryani. Biryani saag is very popular dish in asian countries. 

 oil – 3 tbsp
Onion – 2, small, sliced
Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
Tomato – 2, small, diced
Red chilli powder – 2  tsp
Salt – 2 tsp
Turmeric powder – 1/4 tsp
Garam masala- 1 tbsp
Lamb meat with bone – 650 gms
Green chillies – 4-6, chopped
Kulfa leaves one bunch, methi leaves one bunch and spinach leaves four bunches

Method:
Chop roughly saag( kulfa, methi and spinach)  leaves  and wash them atleast three water.Otherwise some mud will remain in this. 
Add saag in a pot and cook it on low flames.
During cooking, it will release water and cook in own water.After three or four boil drain water from saag and grind it.Put it a side.
In the other kettle, put onion, garlic,ginger and all spices with lamb meat or mutton.
Cook this meat untill it will be soft.
SOME PEOPLE DO NOT USE TOMATOES IN GREEN LEAFY VEGETABLES CURRY.
Now put oil or ghee in this meat and fry untill it release oil on the sides or water from mutton will be dry.Now add saag(kulfa, methi and spinach) in mutton and cook a while.At the end spread some garam masala on it .
Mutton saag  or kulfa  gosht  is ready to serve.
